About Nelson Deedle

With more than two decades in memorabilia authentications, appraisals, and sales, Nelson Deedle is widely considered one of the top professionals in his field. Particularly noted for his work in autographs, Mr. Deedle has accumulated a multi-million dollar personal collection of 100,000-plus autographed collectibles, along with an impeccable record in the authentication of these and other items. Over the course of his career, Nelson Deedle has personally orchestrated more than 600 private celebrity signings, helped develop and served on the board of the world’s largest private signing website, and published articles in several top trade magazines, Autograph Times and Autograph Quarterly among them. From the signatures of America’s founding fathers to Justin Bieber’s stage outfits, Mr. Deedle finds and sells all manner of collectibles and routinely works with major figures in entertainment and business, with countless items authenticated, appraised, and sold since 1989.

In tandem with his work in memorabilia, Nelson Deedle plays an active role in the community and donates his time, energy, and resources to worthy causes across the United States. Mr. Deedle sponsored the late Elizabeth Taylor’s AIDS education initiatives in public schools, spoke out on behalf of children with disabilities in the Scottsdale Unified School District, and led charity fundraising efforts alongside numerous celebrities.

In the past, Nelson Deedle worked for The Elliott Roosevelt Estate as an Archivist and was an influential figure in the development of the Web 1.0 online auction marketplace in the mid-1990s, before the advent of eBay. Educated at Richmond College in London and Arizona State University, Mr. Deedle earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from ASU.
